We’re open for sessions!

We’re proud to announce that we are officially re-opened for in person sessions. Below we have laid out some of the precautions we are taking and are requiring clients to take for attended sessions.

As always, we’re still available for remote mixing, composition and production work so if you have a new project in mind or just need some help getting a song over the finish line give us a call or email today.

Staying Safe

We are following the guidelines published by NARAS and the Grammy foundation. Below are some of the key steps we’re taking to keep you and our staff safe while working at Garden Sound.


Single Use Pop Filters

We’re requesting that singers, voice over artists and podcasters bring their own pop-filters in for sessions. If you don’t have one, no problem! We have new ones on hand for purchase and then you’ll have one to bring in for your next session. We’re arriving earlier to setup for and cleaning microphones before and after use.



While we pride ourselves on keeping the studio clean and ready to go in normal circumstances we’ve taken that to a whole new level! All common areas are cleaned daily and after every session. Any equipment used is also sanitized before the next booking and we’re adding more time between sessions to enable this. We also request that musicians not move the microphones or stands during a session and allow the engineer to do so, reducing the number of interactions with the equipment.


Face Masks & Hand Washing

We’re requiring face masks to be worn at all times while inside the studio (and highly recommend them being worn when you’re in public but I’m sure you already do). For vocalists, we’re making use of our isolation booth and have hand sanitation stations around the facility. Wash your hands early and often!


Limiting Visitors

We’re requesting that only people required for the session attend. A limit of 4 musicians in the live room and only two musicians in the control room at a time help us ensure there’s enough space to socially distance. We’ve got a good sized live room and are happy to put it to use keeping everyone safe!


Waiving rescheduling fees

If you’re not feeling well, just give us a call! We’re waiving our short notice cancellation and rebooking fees for the time being. We’re taking temperatures at the door and will reschedule if you have a fever.


Reduced food services

Please bring your own coffee and food items. While delivery is available from several restaurants in the area we’ll not be providing runners to pick food up. Delivery via apps (preferably contactless) is encouraged. We have a filtered water cooler on site and are requesting that you bring refillable bottles and containers for water & tea.
